Vaio model VPCZ122GX/S is a premium ultraportable laptop from Sony. It is a pre-configured system that has many of today's most advanced performance components in it. The VPCZ122GX/S ultraportable is designed for computer enthusiasts. More specifically, the laptop is ideal for mobile executives. The Vaio VPCZ122GX/S is stylish, compact in form factor, portable, has good battery life and is a performance computer.

Not many ultraportable notebooks feature good dedicated graphics solutions. Vaio VPCZ122GX/S does. It uses a hybrid graphics solution that is highlighted by an Nvidia GeForce GT 330M with 1GB VRAM. This is much better than any Intel graphics solutions and users should be able to play games and run other graphic intensive applications with the Nvidia graphics as well.

The laptop is extremely portable. It has a 13.1" LED backlit display which allows it to be easily stored away and carried around. The system is about an inch thin and weights only 3 lbs.

Battery life is good for the VPCZ122GX/S notebook. On default brightness with a standard battery, the Vaio VPCZ122GX/S gets up to 7 hours of usage time. With a larger capacity battery, the laptop can go up to 10.5 hours.

Caveats:
While the Vaio VPCZ122GX/S ultraportable notebook places among the more cost-effective systems in the premium Vaio Z Series, it's still a pretty expensive laptop. The VPCZ122GX/S comes out around $2000. This probably is the biggest knock on the laptop. If shoppers have the money, then by all means, go for it. You'll get the best in portability, looks and performance. If not, there are other more affordable alternatives.
